I got these cute Wellies for Christmas and I decide I needed to make some boot cuffs to go with them. I started with a pattern, but I didn’t like the way it was coming out, so I made up my own pattern.
Simple Boot Cuffs

- H (6.00 mm) Hook
- 1 skein worsted weight yarn (I used Merino 200 by Yarn and Soul)

- Lace or leather ribbon
- Yarn Needle
- Scissors
STITCHES:
- Chain
- Single Crochet (sc)
- Double Crochet (dc)
- Wide Picot
INSTRUCTIONS (Make 2):

Row 1: Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, sc into each stitch until you reach the end of the row, chain 1, turn. (43 stitches)
Rows 2 – 12: Sc into each stitch until you reach the end of the row, chain 1, turn. (43 stitches) NOTE: At end of Row 12, chain 2 instead of 1.
Row 13: Dc into each stitch until you reach the end of the row, chain 1, turn. (43 stitches)
Row 14: Sc into each stitch until you reach the end of the row, chain 2, turn. (43 stitches)
Rows 15 – 18: Repeat Rows 13 and 14 two more times (43 stitches) NOTE: At the end of Row 18, chain 1 instead of 2.
Row 19: Sc in first stitch, *Picot across next two stitch, sc in the next stitch. Repeat from * to the end of the row, end with sc. (43 stitches)
Tie off, but leave a long tail to stitch up the side.
FINISHING:
- Fold the cuff in half and stitch up the side.
- Add a button to the front, right, or left of the cuff.
- Add the lace in between the DC stitches on Row 13 and tie off in the front or back.
