Pittsburgh Creative Arts Festival

I have not been to the Pittsburgh Creative Arts Festival yet, but I am definitely going to go next year.  Next year’s event will take place April 6, 7, and 8, 2018 at the David L Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

The event has all kinds of classes for crochet, knitting, sewing and quilting, and others.  They also will have exhibits as well.  Since I haven’t been there before, I’m not entirely sure what to expect.  I wanted to go this year, but didn’t.  I don’t want to miss it again.

I’ve been checking out the crochet class schedules.  I’ve always wanted to take advanced crochet classes.  Actually, I guess I’ve never taken any crochet classes, so this would be my first time.  So far there are six classes on the schedule that I’m interested in taking spread out over the three days.  I’m trying to focus mainly on learning Tunisian crochet and freeform.  There’s also a lace class I’m interested in.

Since I have not attended before, I don’t know if this will be too much, or information overload, or just exhausting.  If anyone has done anything like this before, I’d be interested in your input.  It looks like each class is three hours long, so that would be six hours of classes a day.  Perhaps I should keep to one class per day?  Hmm.  Dilemma.
